List of Current Species: (May 2006)

Which are still being maintained in my special cupboard until the fish house is ready, but hopefully for not much longer as I am quicly running out of space im little cupboard.

From early 2005:

  • N. korthausae Mafia Island TAN 02-05 (adults plus eggs)
  • A. australe Chocolate (still the same colourful strain I originally acquired from Tim Addis)
  • A. striatum (adults plus fry)
  • Fp. nigerianum (just young fish)
  • Fp. gardneri P82 (lots of young adults)
  • Fp. walkeri Orange (adult pair plus young fish)
  • Fp. scheeli (lots of young fish)

Then at the 2005 Convention I acquired the following

  • Fp. gardneri clauseni Akure (young adults)
  • N. rachovii Malanchopes River (lost adults, but nothing so far stored peat)
  • N. orthonotus Ceramica (long incubation and problem with belly-sliders, but now have some good fry)
  • N. sp. Melele River ((lost adults, but nothing so far stored peat)

So far in 2006 I have been buying Nothobranchius eggs from EBAY and AQUABID, with some good results so far.

  • i (eggs received from the USA, via another BKA member - have Adults and eggs stored)
  • N. interruptus (lots of fry when I wet the peat received from Italy)
  • N eggersi Red (7 fry from the first wetting - peat from Germany)
  • N fuzeri GRZ (nothing so far from the wettings, but eggs still in peat)
  • N kafuensis Nega Nega ((nothing so far from the wettings)
  • N rubripinnis (peat from Germany)
  • N guentheri Zanzibar (peat from Germany)
  • N jubbi Warfa Blue (purchaseded peat only)
  • N foerschi (purchased peat only)
  • N sp Nyando River KE 01-3 (purchaseded peat only from Germany)
  • N sp Messalo River MZHL-2005-12 (peat only from Italy)
  • N rachovii Nicuadala MZHL-2005-05 (purchaseded peat only)
  • N symoensi ZAM 92-03 (purchaseded peat only)
  • N kafuensis Kayuni ZAM 97-09(purchaseded peat only)

Plus some Fundulopanchax species

  • Fp amieti (received from Scotland - now have several young fish)
  • Fp gardneri Makurdi (young fish)
  • Fp sjoestedti Red (purchased peat from Germany)
  • Fp sjoestedti Blue (probably Loe strain, but still to arrive)
